Roles: Working as a Game Tester, you’ll be instrumental in quality assurance by evaluating unreleased games throughout their development cycle. Your observations and commentary will be essential in polishing gameplay features, making certain games are fun, immersive, and completely bug-free.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work through unreleased titles to spot technical issues and performance problems.
- Share thoughtful analysis regarding controls, narrative elements, and how players experience the game.
- Progress through designated sections and challenges to guarantee thorough evaluation across all content.
- Work alongside engineering staff and fellow testers to review observations and suggest improvements.
- Keep current with emerging gaming titles and quality assurance best practices.
Rate:
- $35 hourly rate, adjusted based on game difficulty level and the level of analysis you provide.
Skills/Background Needed:
- A smartphone or tablet capable of running games with app installation capabilities.
- Capacity to function autonomously while adhering strictly to guidelines and procedures.
- Willingness to commit at least 5 hours weekly to the position.
- Reliable broadband connection suitable for mobile gaming and team collaboration.
